With a beautiful orange color, the chanterelle is certainly one of the best known and most appreciated forest mushrooms. Although it is not very selective as to the places where it grows and it is relatively common, it nonetheless remains a delicacy. Its taste is reminiscent of apricots and orange and knows how to please all palates, from the initiated to those who are making their first discoveries in the world of mushrooms.
Additional information: Even the most seasoned pickers are impressed when they come upon a beautiful tiller of chanterelles. It is always a huge gift when nature gives us abundant harvests as is sometimes the case with this mushroom.
The chanterelles that we offer you are hand-picked in Quebec, and meticulously dried before being packaged so that you can enjoy their exquisite fruity scent all year round.
Directions for use: Omelette, quiche, muffins, cream sauce, chicken with chanterelles, the only limit to using these delicious mushrooms is your imagination!
Rehydrate the mushrooms in a liquid (water, broth, milk, wine, etc.) until they are full (the time varies depending on whether the liquid is hot or cold), then incorporate them into your recipe. Remember to recover the rehydration fluid, taking care to filter it; it's full of the good taste of mushrooms! If your recipe already contains liquid, there is no need to rehydrate the mushrooms beforehand.
Chanterelles can be used whole, in small pieces cut with scissors, crumbled or ground to powder in a food processor.

All our products are available at the DIX30 branch. Additionally, orders placed online can be picked up in store.

Please note that we cannot accept the cancellation of an order once it has been processed. To make changes to your order, please contact us before your package ships. If your package has already been shipped, we recommend contacting the shipping distributor directly to update your shipping address.
If the package is returned to us due to an incorrect address or undeliverable, please note that you will be responsible for return shipping costs.
