For me, the holiday season rhymes with a small red fruit that is as sour as can be: the cranberry! Whether by its taste, from the traditional turkey with cranberries to the “fanc y” canapes with cranberry jelly. Or by its smell, with the too many fragrant candles lit at home and my little hand creams that smell of Christmas. So I decided to concoct you a holiday cocktail featuring my favorite fruit: a cranberry fizz!
To do this, I selected a spread fromSunday Morning . A little gem of a company established in Crabtree, in the Lanaudière region. They offer jams with inspiring flavors and enticing mixes. It's simple, each of these jams makes me want to put on my apron and create little Pinterest-like delicacies, despite my shortcomings in the kitchen! Plus, they don't contain any preservatives. What more could you ask for?
The face behind these little jars of happiness is that of Annie-Claude Saint-Jean, a nice girl full of ideas who offers products that are just as inspiring as she is. It's worth the cost to take a look!
Here is the ultra simple recipe to impress your guests:
- Drop a few ice cubes into a glass;
- Add a teaspoon of Sunday Morning Pineapple Cranberry Jam;
- Pour an ounce of Gin ( Cirka );
- Line up with Soda;
- Garnish with a sprig of Rosemary and a few pomegranate seeds.
(For a non-alcoholic option, ditch the gin and swap the soda for ginger ale!)
