1. Shipping fees
- Free shipping on orders of $50 or more (before taxes) in Quebec, and $100 in Canada.
- Quebec: $10 + taxes (exceptions may apply for remote areas)
- Canada: $20 + taxes
- United States: $40 + taxes
Free shipping and flat-rate policies apply to individual orders only. They cannot be used for corporate orders (e.g., one buyer shipping to multiple addresses). Signé Local reserves the right to group orders placed by the same customer to prevent abuse.
For corporate orders:
- Greater Montreal area: $10 per address
- Rest of Quebec: $15 per address
Rest of Canada: $25 per address
This pricing structure allows us to handle all orders fairly while maintaining high-quality service.
2. Order Processing
- All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days.
- You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been shipped.
- A tracking number will be provided so you can follow your delivery.
3. Shipping Areas
- Signé Local ships to all valid addresses in Canada and the United States.
- Please ensure the shipping address provided is accurate and complete to avoid delays or returns.
4. Damaged Products During Shipping
- If you receive a damaged product, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving your package by contacting customer service at bonjour@signelocal.com. Include your order number, a detailed description of the damage, and clear photos of the product and packaging.
- After reviewing your claim, we will determine whether the damage occurred during transit. If so, we will file a claim with the carrier. Signé Local reserves the right, at its discretion, to offer a replacement or a gift card credit equal to the value of the damaged product.
- Please note that Signé Local is not responsible for damage occurring after delivery or due to improper handling by the recipient.
5. Incorrect, Expired, or Missing Articles
- If you receive an incorrect product or if an item is missing, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving your package by contacting bonjour@signelocal.com.
Include your order number, a detailed description of the issue, and clear photos of the received items and packaging. - After reviewing your claim, we will verify the shipping error. If confirmed, Signé Local reserves the right, at its discretion, to send the correct product at no additional cost or offer a gift card credit equal to the value of the item.
- We may also ask you to return the incorrect product in its original, unused condition. In such cases, we will provide a prepaid return label.
6. Liability for Stolen Packages
- Signé Local is not responsible for stolen packages if the carrier confirms delivery.
- We strongly recommend choosing a secure delivery address or adding special instructions in the order comments to avoid such issues.
7. Unclaimed, Refused, or Incorrect Address Shipments
- If a package is returned to us because it was unclaimed, refused, or due to an incorrect address, we will refund the merchandise minus carrier fees and any applicable administrative fees. You may also choose to pay the shipping fees again to have your order reshipped.
8. Delivery Guarantee (Optional)
- To protect your orders against loss, theft, or damage during transit, Signé Local offers a Delivery Guarantee, available for purchase at checkout.
- Guarantee Fee — Calculated based on the total value of your order.
- Coverage — If your package is lost or damaged by the carrier before delivery, Signé Local will prioritize reshipping a new package at no cost. If the package is lost in transit, we will also ensure reshipment.
- Exclusion — The guarantee expires once the carrier confirms delivery. Items stolen after delivery confirmation are not covered. Address errors (incorrect address provided at checkout) are not covered.
- Claims Process — Please contact bonjour@signelocal.com within 48 hours of noticing loss, theft, or damage, and indicate that you selected the Delivery Guarantee at checkout.
