Launch at Signé Local: “Look for the little houses in the aisles” Campaign

Lancement chez Signé Local: Campagne « Recherchez les p’tites maisons dans les allées »

Last Saturday, November 1st, our store at the Eaton Centre in Montreal had the honor of hosting Samuel Poulin, Minister for Youth and Minister Delegate for Economy and SMEs, and Elfi Morin, Executive Director of Les Produits du Québec, to unveil the campaign "Look for the little houses in the aisles". A simple and clear message: when looking for local products, you should be able to spot them within three seconds — both in-store and online.

What this changes, concretely

At Signé Local, the promise has been clear since day 1: All our products are designed and manufactured in Quebec. This is our baseline, our filter, our commitment.

Following the launch, we have also:

  • Identified all certified products in-store Les Produits du Québec (labels and in-shelf signage);

  • Added clear certification identification to our online product pages so that the proof is visible before adding to the cart;

  • Trained our teams to answer questions about traceability, materials, origin, and certification criteria.

In short, less hesitation, more landmarks. Because price attracts, but value retains.

Why it's important (and not just for today)

In a context of trade war and disrupted supply chains, local purchasing is not just an identity reflex: it's a strategic choice.

  • For our SMEs, it means more opportunities, jobs that stay here, and expertise that is passed on.

  • For consumers, it means quality and trust (standards, safety, real after-sales service).

  • For the community, it means an economy that holds its own when things are shaking internationally.

Putting local at the center is not about excluding the rest of the world: it's about ensuring that what is made here is visible, comparable, and desirable at first glance.

Our role in the ecosystem

Signé Local is a showcase and a launchpad for hundreds of local businesses. Our work:

  • Pooling marketing efforts (discovery, merchandising, content),

  • Simplifying purchases (in-store and online),

  • Making tangible the extrinsic value of products (story, expertise, proximity, pride).

The Les Produits du Québec campaign gives us a common language and a visual landmark to accelerate this movement. We fully support it.

Thank you… and see you soon

A big thank you to the MEIE, to Les Produits du Québec, to our creators, to our in-store teams, and to our community of customers. You help us prove, every day, that we can combine speed, simplicity, and meaning — without compromising on "made here".
