These terms and conditions of sale (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the website signelocal.com (the “Site”) as well as the purchase of products offered by Signé Local (“we”, “our” or “Signé Local”). By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use the Site or make a purchase.

Signé Local offers a selection of products designed and made by local Quebec artisans and merchants. We make every effort to present products and their characteristics (colours, dimensions, materials) as faithfully as possible. However, slight variations may exist between the photo displayed and the product received, due to the artisanal nature of the items, your screen's display settings, or photographic processes.
Signé Local reserves the right to modify, withdraw or add products at any time, without notice.
Prices displayed on the Site are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and do not include applicable taxes (GST and QST), unless otherwise indicated. Taxes are calculated and added at checkout, based on the province or territory of delivery.
Shipping costs are presented separately and detailed in our Shipping Policy, available on the Site.
Signé Local reserves the right to change its prices at any time, without notice. The applicable prices are those in effect at the time your order is confirmed. In the event of a typographical error or a manifestly incorrect price, Signé Local reserves the right to cancel the order concerned and to notify you accordingly.
Promotions, discount codes and special offers are subject to their own conditions (duration, exclusions, limits) and cannot be combined with one another, unless otherwise indicated. Signé Local reserves the right to end a promotion at any time.

The total amount of the order (including taxes and shipping costs) is charged at the time the order is confirmed. All transactions are processed in Canadian dollars (CAD). Currency conversion fees may apply if your financial institution is located outside Canada.
By placing an order on the Site, you agree that your invoices and receipts will be sent to you exclusively by electronic means (by email), to the address provided with your order. No paper invoice will be sent, unless expressly requested at bonjour@signelocal.com.
Shipping terms (costs, delivery times, areas served, in-store pickup options, delivery guarantee, lost or damaged parcels) are detailed in our Shipping Policy, available on the Site. By placing an order, you accept the conditions described therein.
The terms governing returns, exchanges and refunds (time limits, eligibility, procedure, fees, exclusions) are detailed in our Refund Policy, available on the Site. By placing an order, you accept the conditions described therein.
Signé Local gift cards are non-refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash and carry no expiry date, in accordance with the Quebec Consumer Protection Act. They may be used only on signelocal.com.
In the event of loss or theft, Signé Local is not required to replace or refund the gift card. It is your responsibility to keep your card code in a safe place.
Signé Local acts as a sales platform for a network of partner artisan-merchants across Quebec. Although we select our partners with care and ensure the quality of the products offered, each product is designed and made by the artisan-merchant identified on the product page.
Signé Local acts as an intermediary for customer service and claims. All communication relating to an order must be sent to bonjour@signelocal.com; we will follow up with the partner concerned.
Signé Local offers a corporate ordering service for businesses wishing to give local gifts to their employees, clients or partners. Corporate orders are subject to specific conditions (pricing, timelines, delivery to multiple addresses) detailed in our Shipping Policy.

Signé Local offers a mobile application providing access to the products on the Site as well as exclusive offers and discounts reserved for application users. Use of the mobile application is governed by these Terms, in addition to the specific conditions of the download platform (App Store, Google Play).
Exclusive offers made available through the application are subject to change and may be withdrawn at any time without notice.
Membership in the Signé Local loyalty program (the “Program”) is free and reserved for natural persons residing in Canada, aged at least 18, acting for personal and non-commercial purposes. Membership is activated exclusively through the Signé Local mobile application; no points are accumulated for purchases made before the account is activated in the application.
Once the account is activated, you earn ten (10) points per dollar ($1) spent on eligible products, both in store and on signelocal.com, provided the transaction is linked to your account (in particular through the email address associated with the account). Points are credited automatically within approximately forty-eight (48) hours. Unless otherwise indicated, taxes, shipping costs and gift card purchases are excluded from the points calculation.
Signé Local may offer additional points as part of occasional offers, including a welcome bonus, a birthday bonus, points multipliers and a referral program. Under the referral program, the referring member and the referred friend each receive one thousand (1,000) points when the referred friend completes a first eligible order. The terms of these offers are set by Signé Local and may be modified or withdrawn at any time.
Points may be redeemed only for (i) products offered in the Program's rewards catalogue and (ii) Signé Local gift cards. The number of points required for each reward is determined by Signé Local, may vary from one reward to another and over time, and the rewards catalogue is available in the mobile application. Points have no monetary value, are neither transferable nor assignable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
If a transaction that generated points is subject to a return, cancellation or refund, the corresponding points are removed from the account; where those points have already been redeemed, Signé Local may allow the account balance to go negative until the situation is corrected.
The account of a member who has made no eligible purchase for twenty-four (24) consecutive months may be closed by Signé Local, and any unused points balance may then be cancelled, subject to notice sent by email at least thirty (30) days in advance. If the account is closed at the member's initiative, any unused points balance is forfeited.
Signé Local reserves the right to suspend, cap or cancel points, to withdraw a reward, or to suspend or close an account, in the event of manifestly abnormal behaviour, fraud, abuse, resale or unauthorized commercial use. Signé Local may modify or terminate the Program at any time, subject to reasonable notice communicated by email or published on signelocal.com.
Creating a customer account is not required to place an order, but it allows you to:
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Any activity carried out from your account is presumed to have been authorized by you. Please notify us immediately at bonjour@signelocal.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Signé Local reserves the right to suspend or delete an account in the event of fraudulent or abusive use, or use contrary to these Terms.
All content on the Site — including but not limited to texts, images, photographs, logos, trademarks, brand names, graphics, videos and any other visual or textual element — is the exclusive property of Signé Local or its partner artisan-merchants and is protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws.
Any reproduction, distribution, modification, adaptation or use of the Site's content, in whole or in part, without the prior written authorization of Signé Local, is strictly prohibited and constitutes an infringement of these rights.

Signé Local is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Quebec) and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”. Signé Local does not warrant that the Site will be free of errors, interruptions or viruses.
To the extent permitted by law, Signé Local cannot be held liable for:

Nothing in these Terms has the effect of limiting the rights conferred by the Quebec Consumer Protection Act.
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
In the event of a dispute arising from these Terms or from use of the Site, the parties undertake to attempt to resolve the dispute amicably by contacting us at bonjour@signelocal.com. If no agreement can be reached, any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Montreal, Province of Quebec.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Signé Local, its officers, employees, partners and suppliers from any claim, loss, liability, damage and expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Site in violation of these Terms or of any applicable law.
Signé Local cannot be held liable for any delay or failure to meet its obligations resulting from an event of force majeure, including in particular: natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, interruptions of postal services, major technological failures, armed conflicts or any other circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Signé Local.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable. The remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Signé Local reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any modification takes effect as soon as it is published on the Site. It is your responsibility to review the Terms in effect on a regular basis. The version applicable to your order is the one displayed on the Site at the time your purchase is confirmed.
These Terms, together with our Shipping Policy, our Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Signé Local regarding use of the Site and the purchase of products. They supersede any prior communication, proposal or agreement, whether written or verbal.
