The crab mushroom is noticeable from afar by its spectacular orange color and its sometimes massive shape. It is a mushroom which can be very abundant, particularly along forest paths, and whose flesh, firm and generous, has an exquisite seafood smell and taste.
Additional Info: The crab mushroom is actually two mushrooms! The short-footed russula, edible but rather tasteless, is attacked by another mushroom, the Hypomyces lactifluorum and then becomes the magnificent mushroom that we know.
The mushrooms that we offer you are hand-picked in the forest and meticulously dried. The result is tasty, quality dehydrated mushrooms that you can incorporate into a wide variety of dishes all year round!
Directions for use: Incorporated into a sauce, crab mushroom is delicious on pasta, vol-au-vent and naturally accompanies dishes based on seafood and fish.
Rehydrate the mushrooms in a liquid (water, broth, milk, wine, etc.) until they are full (the time varies depending on whether the liquid is hot or cold), then incorporate them into your recipe. Remember to recover the rehydration fluid, taking care to filter it; it's full of the good taste of mushrooms! If your recipe already contains liquid, there is no need to rehydrate the mushrooms beforehand.
Mushrooms can be used whole, cut into pieces or ground to a powder in a food processor.

All our products are available at the DIX30 branch. Additionally, orders placed online can be picked up in store.
How do I modify or cancel an order?
Please note that we cannot accept the cancellation of an order once it has been processed. To make changes to your order, please contact us before your package ships. If your package has already been shipped, we recommend contacting the shipping distributor directly to update your shipping address.
If the package is returned to us due to an incorrect address or undeliverable, please note that you will be responsible for return shipping costs.
