Although it has a generous scent, cedar jelly has a very sweet, light and well-balanced taste. There are of course notes of resinous wood but also aromas of lemon which make this local product an unusual discovery.

Additional Information: Cedar Jelly is created from the needles of the tree which are hand picked, crushed then cold macerated and finally filtered. The liquid is then added with a hint of organic sugar and fruit pectin.
The result is a delicate, slightly resinous jelly with a taste of cedar and citrus fruits whose aromas evoke the forest. The secret of these artisanal jellies lies in using a minimum of the best quality products.

Directions for use: enjoy cedar jelly with cheeses, foie gras and pâtés, in fruit salad for a touch of freshness, in a green smoothie for a light forest taste, with smoked salmon on bagels, with game and lamb or on steamed vegetables with a knob of butter.
