Renard Jaune has been offering personalized children's books since 2010. The company, masterfully led by owner Marilyne Cormier, has a very noble mission: to make children love reading from an early age.

Holder of a bachelor's degree in visual arts and former bookseller, Marilyne is driven by a passion for children's books and art, which pushed her to create a product that is out of the ordinary.

Sensitive to local purchasing, ecology and education, she puts her heart and all her knowledge into the creation of books for children from 2 to 9 years old. Totally dedicated to her project, she takes care of the writing, illustration, binding, sale and promotion of each of her products, sold mainly online on her website .

The personalization of the book goes much further than the simple mention of the first name of the child. At the time of the order, a lot of information is requested so that the main character and his environment reflect the image of the child: eye and hair color and accessories are just some of the characteristics that will be attributed to the characters.

The books deal with different themes, such as Christmas, pirates or zoo animals, and feature full-page illustrations. They allow children to enter a universe created from scratch by Marilyne, who masters the smallest historical aspects (for example in her pirate stories). No detail, no matter how small, is left to chance. Each word, each image, each color has its purpose and punctuates the reader's imagination.

Renard Jaune recently acquired Alphakid, a company that also offered custom products. In total, 13 different books are now offered to the public. Mostly sold in Quebec, the books also travel to the rest of Canada and around the world.

A passionate entrepreneur, Marilyne has her own workshop and is surrounded by a small support team. Five years ago, intrigued, she took a craft binding course which today allows her to offer books with soft or hard covers entirely by hand. Printing and binding are done directly in the workshop, where you can find all the equipment necessary to offer a quality product.

The one who always wants to learn new techniques to integrate into the world of Renard Jaune is even considering training in screen printing. She would also like to return to acrylic, watercolor and pencil to offer certain titles with slightly more traditional illustrations.

Other products will emerge in the coming months. In the meantime, here's a perfect gift for a child, whether it's yours or not! It is also possible to add a personalized dedication that will allow the child to keep a memory that will stand the test of time.

Marilyne Cormier, via Renard Jaune, now owns the largest children's book personalization company in Quebec. Ambitious and passionate, she nevertheless sees it as an affair of the heart.
