The Microbrasserie du Lièvre, located on the banks of the river of the same name in the municipality of Mont-Laurier, was founded by the Sabourin family at the dawn of the new millennium. The idea behind its creation was to add a tourist attraction to the Motel Le Riverain hotel complex. They subsequently obtained artisanal and industrial permits to be able to sell their beers on site, in grocery stores as well as in convenience stores across the province. On January 18, 2013, the Microbrasserie du Lièvre was ravaged by fire. Reconstruction was quick to resume production in the new premises, and it was at the end of 2019 that the Filion family acquired the business. They proudly brew around twenty beers from the Classic and Seasonal ranges, and offer you a gourmet and local menu, carefully crafted for each season.
