Enhancing Oil - ROUCOU -
An annatto oil for the face, body and hair, with an orange colour and a natural warm, sunny scent. It deeply moisturizes and gives the skin a warm, golden glow.
Annatto (Bixa orellana), known as roucou in French, is a seed from the Amazon, traditionally used by Indigenous peoples of the Americas to protect the skin. Its oil is rich in carotenoids, including bixin and beta-carotene, and in antioxidants. MIBOTY makes it by artisanal methods in Montréal; it is vegan, silicone-free and free of synthetic fragrance.
Format: 50 ml or 100 ml bottle.
Ingredients: annatto seed oil (Bixa orellana), coconut oil (Cocos nucifera), sunflower seed oil (Helianthus annuus), tocopherol.
How to apply: on the body, massage a few drops into damp skin after showering. On hair, use it as a pre-shampoo treatment or on dry lengths. On the face, apply a few drops in the evening as a nourishing treatment.
Storage: keep away from light and heat.
Precautions: for external use only. Avoid the eye area and discontinue use in case of irritation. Do an allergy test before the first use on the face. The orange colour can stain light fabrics: let the oil absorb before getting dressed. Does not replace sun protection.
