Founded in 1982 in Montreal by dancer Daniel Soulières, Danse-Cité stands out for the audacity, diversity, and quality of its choreographic works presented in various key cultural venues in Montreal. Unique in the artistic landscape, Danse-Cité has a very unique configuration: nomadic, the company evolves without a choreographer or regular dancers. This original operation allows it to develop a constellation of new and varied shows. Thus, each year, different artists (choreographers and performers) are invited to freely create projects included in the annual program, according to their signature style.
