The Kanatha-Aki Activity Center, a Native American philosophy meaning "guardian of the land without borders" in Algonquin, is located in Val-Des-Lacs in the magnificent Laurentians region. Depending on your package, Kanatha-aki offers you an authentic experience: the typical trapper's log cabin, a stay in a teepee, an "escalarbes" or zip line experience. In addition, you could also have the unique privilege of meeting the largest North American land mammal: the "Athabascae" wood bison. Kanatha-Aki is the first and only wood bison reserve in Quebec, with the aim of protecting the species, which is currently threatened with extinction.
