Seven days to cross the forest and bring the game back to the Shaputuan: around the table, nobody plays against anybody.
Nitassinan is a co-edition from Jeux Face 4, a publishing house co-founded by Joel Legrand, and the Institut Tshakapesh. The game was created by Sébastien Magnan, a former teacher in an Innu community, and illustrated by Lyne Maïkan Washish, an Innu artist. The box includes a cultural booklet on Innu stories and traditions.
Format: a cooperative game for 1 to 4 players, ages 10 and up, about 30 minutes per game. Solo mode possible.
How to use: players take on the role of hunters who travel the ancestral Innu territory and work together to bring back as much game as possible to the Shaputuan before the end of the seventh day.
Origin: designed, illustrated and produced in Quebec by Jeux Face 4, of La Prairie, in Montérégie; the cardboard used is 100% Canadian.
