The Nouvelle-France Microbrewery, located in St-Alexis-des-Monts in the magnificent Mauricie region, offers a detour that will meet your expectations. This Microbrewery has carved out a place for itself among the great breweries of this world. First in North America to offer a gluten-free beer like La Messagère made from rice and buckwheat, allowing people intolerant to barley and wheat to be able to consume this product. La Nouvelle-France also offers regular beers Ambrée de Sarrasin, mellow with a distinctive taste, Blonde d'épeautre, with a slightly spicy taste or Nouvelle-France Rouge, made from malted barley with a citrus and hazelnut flavor. For a refreshing and enriching stop, in a setting reminiscent of taverns in the time of New France, to taste beers brewed on site and to savor our dishes inspired by the village's terroir... Cheers!
