A sweet, fruity syrup made with blueberries and sweetfern, a boreal shrub with notes of sweet tea, honey and citrus.

The blueberries are local, and sweetfern (Comptonia peregrina) adds soft herbal notes and woody depth. Kabir Kouba Inspiration makes this syrup by hand, in small batches, in Wendake.

Format: 200 ml glass bottle

How to use: In smoothies, cocktails, mocktails, kombucha or kefir; over pancakes, waffles, ice cream or sorbet; with goat cheese.

Storage: 12 months unopened, at room temperature and out of the sun. Once opened, refrigerate and use within 6 months.

Precautions: Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, because of the sweetfern.

Origin: handmade in Wendake, in the Capitale-Nationale region of Quebec.
