A fruity, tangy syrup made with raspberry and sweet gale, a boreal shrub with resinous, slightly peppery notes.

Harvested in Quebec's forests, sweet gale recalls bay leaf and leaves a lingering finish. Kabir Kouba Inspiration makes this syrup by hand, in small batches, in Wendake.

Format: 200 ml glass bottle

How to use: In lemonade, slush, cocktails or mocktails; over sorbet, fresh cheese or yogurt; in a berry vinaigrette or as a glaze for game and duck.

Storage: 12 months unopened, at room temperature and out of the sun. Once opened, refrigerate and use within 6 months.

Precautions: Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, because of the sweet gale.

Origin: handmade in Wendake, in the Capitale-Nationale region of Quebec.
