Sucrerie de Courval is the family sugar bush of Nancy Plourde and Éric Dupuis in Saint-Joachim-de-Courval. The couple has owned the land since 2005; the sugar shack, rebuilt in 2009, had its first sugaring season in the spring of 2010. The sugar bush now has 9,300 taps, and everything is processed on site. Most of its production is amber grade, with a rich taste.

Ingredients: 100% pure maple syrup.
Serving suggestion: pour over desserts and savoury dishes, or add to your salad dressings.
Storage: keep away from light; refrigerate after opening.
Origin: produced at the sugar bush in Drummondville (Saint-Joachim-de-Courval sector), Centre-du-Québec.
