The Délice boréal line grew out of the work of the Avataq Cultural Institute, an Inuit organization in Nunavik created in 1980, which documented traditional herbal knowledge with the Elders before launching the commercial line in the early 2000s. The plants are picked and dried by residents of the Nunavik communities. This blend puts the spotlight on cloudberry (Arpiqutik), also called chicouté.
Format: 20 tea bags. The filters are made of paper that is more than 99% plant fibre, with no plastic and no glue.
Ingredients: sarsaparilla root, fenugreek seeds, carob, cloudberry leaves, roasted chicory root, cinnamon bark, roasted maté leaves.
Serving suggestion: steep one bag in a cup of hot water for a few minutes, depending on the strength you want.
Storage: in an airtight container, away from moisture.
Precautions: contains roasted maté, whose stimulating properties are flagged by the manufacturer.
Origin: plants picked and dried by hand in Nunavik, in the Nord-du-Québec.
