A trio of jams to start the day right: pear, vanilla and grapefruit; wild blueberry with maple; strawberry and elderberry. Spread them on pancakes, toast and croissants, or use them to add a touch of sweetness to yogurt and chia pudding.

Simon Turcotte, a jam maker based in Sainte-Marcelline-de-Kildare, in Lanaudière, cooks them in small batches with Beauté Flamande pears and strawberries from Quebec, wild blueberries from Lac-Saint-Jean and maple syrup from Lanaudière. According to the maker, these jams are vegan and preservative-free.

What's inside: three 125 ml jams, with their ingredients below.

  • Pear, vanilla and grapefruit: pears, organic sugar, organic grapefruit, lemon juice, vanilla bean, pectin.
  • Wild blueberry with maple: wild blueberries, organic sugar, maple syrup, natural pectin, lemon juice.
  • Strawberry and elderberry: strawberries, organic sugar, elderberries, water, lemon juice, natural pectin.

Format: 3 glass jars of 125 ml, presented in a cardboard tube.

Allergens: according to the maker, these jams are nut-free and gluten-free.

Serving suggestion: spread them on pancakes, toast and croissants, or stir some into yogurt or chia pudding.

Storage: refrigerate after opening.
