You may be surprised to know that wild plums grow in our territory. Fond of clay soils and light, the wild plum tree adorns the edges of country lanes and old railway rights-of-way with its magnificent flowering.
Additional information: The size of a queen olive and bright red in color, the wild plum has nothing to envy of cultivated plums! Its generous and naturally sweet flesh makes it an absolutely delicious jam.
Directions for use: Plum jam is ideal for breakfast and brunch, but also goes well with savory dishes. Savor it on toast or croissants and dare to use it for other occasions: as an accompaniment to cheese, in a sweet and savory Asian sauce with pork or tofu, in a gourmet sandwich, with foie gras and pâtés or on a thin pizza with mozzarella, prosciutto and arugula
