Cloudberry is a fruit from the north that tastes like the south. Its resolutely exotic taste tinged with notes of apricot, mango and passion fruit seduces those with an adventurous palate and leaves no one indifferent. Although cloudberry looks like a large orange raspberry and shares roots with its cousin in the bramble family, it also has many characteristics that make it unique.
Additional information: Cloudberry grows in poorly drained boreal plains, in an environment that is not always accessible and where the picker sometimes finds it difficult to navigate. Only 1 in 20 plants is a female plant which, if pollinated, may produce fruit. There is no doubt that cloudberry is so precious!
Directions for use: Cloudberry jam can be enjoyed in the morning on toast or with a piece of sharp cheddar, as a dessert with the bitterness of dark chocolate, in a sauce with pork and duck breast
