A piece of honeycomb to enjoy as is: the wax crunches between your teeth, then the honey melts, smooth and rich. Every bit is edible, beeswax included.
Miel Liaison, based in the Eastern Townships (Estrie), hand-cuts these pieces from its full frames, then wraps them one by one. Choose your flavour profile to match the cheese you are serving.
The three profiles:
- Frais | Floral (pronounced intensity): a bold taste of fresh flowers, slightly minty, reminiscent of linden honey. With brie, mild camembert or a goat cheese log.
- Chaud | Boisé (delicate intensity): aromas of butter and toasted coconut, a barley sugar taste and a spicy finish. With fresh cheeses and blue cheeses.
- Fruité | Floral (delicate intensity): a blend of fruity and floral aromas. With any cheese.
Format: 160 g piece, in a clear box.
Ingredients: honeycomb (honey and beeswax).
Serving suggestion: enjoy it as is, on a cheese board, on toast or on a cracker.
Storage: in a cool, dry place. Honey does not spoil: enjoy it at your own pace.
Origin: hand-cut and packed by Miel Liaison, a company based in the Eastern Townships (Estrie).
