Pure saffron threads 0.25g from the 2023 harvest. To color, flavor and perfume 10 to 25 servings.

The saffron offered here was grown in Quebec with great care. Each flower was picked and trimmed by hand. The pistils thus removed were dried by applying heat, in small quantities, in a low-temperature oven. Then the pistils were left to rest for 1 month to allow the unique aroma and subtle fragrance of saffron to develop.

This saffron is pure and free from any contaminants. It must be stored away from light and air. It takes between 150 and 250 saffron flowers to obtain 1 dry gram of the precious spice. Cultivating it, as well as cooking with it, requires patience. In return, it rewards with flavor, aroma, and color...
