Gourmet Sauvage has been foraging boreal plants since 1993, the year Gérald Le Gal founded it; the company is now co-led by his daughter Ariane Paré-Le Gal and Pascal Benaksas-Couture. More than a hundred wild products are harvested there by trained foragers, under a code of ethics for responsible harvesting. The sweet clover flowers are picked in July and sorted one by one with tweezers, and it took three years of research to perfect the extraction. Hence its nickname, boreal vanilla.
Format: 130 ml.
Ingredients: alcohol, water, sweet clover flowers. Sugar-free, gluten-free, GMO-free and vegan.
Serving suggestion: add a few drops to your dessert creams, pastries, sauces or drinks.
Storage: keep away from light and refrigerate after opening.
Origin: prepared in Mont-Blanc, in the Laurentides, from plants foraged in the Laurentides.
