Wild elderflowers are picked by hand then cold infused. The flavored liquid is then added with sugar and a touch of acidity. The result is a very high quality artisanal syrup with multiple uses in the kitchen.
Additional information: This syrup has a slightly amber color and a very fragrant nose. It has refreshing notes of lemon, lychee and honey and gives a floral flavor to cocktails or desserts to which it is added.
Directions for use: Elderflower syrup is traditionally drunk in Europe with sparkling water and a dash of lemon, but it is a hit in many other creations: in cocktails, in sparkling wine or beer, on a sponge cake, with pancakes, in a fruit salad or a smoothie, to sweeten tea, hot milk or lemonade!
